When not traveling to or from a show, my own personal dogs and my client dogs are located in the stunning kennel property I base myself from. This property is situated on 34 lush treed acres in Dahlonega Georgia (50 miles north of Metro Atlanta) and is home to Kitty Cathey and Pekay Goldens.
The kennel runs are indoor/outdoor, with over 100 sq.ft. in each individual run, and are totally under roof as well as being climate controlled! Your dogs comfort, safety and health are my utmost priority-100% of the TIME.
Play yards are available for free play for young dogs who are too young to be roadworked. With 34 private acres your dog is not only housed in beautiful surroundings but they can be roadworked in total privacy and safety. All runs have dog beds, toys and bones to chew.
My client dogs are fed a premium diet and appropriate supplements are provided, depending on the breed of dog, age of dog and specific goals that we have discussed for your show dog, you are also welcome to send your dogs favorite foods, toys and treats along for their stay.
When “on the road” your dog will travel in a GMC Savanna Cargo Van and your dog will be securely crated at all times in a metal OR plastic crate. At the show site I do NOT use ex-pens to “potty” the show dogs, each and every dog will be walked on a leash individually or in pairs (depending on age and training level) ensuring more individual attention.
All dogs will have individual water buckets both in the vehicle crates and at the show site at ALL times, and we provide age appropriate toys, beds, blankets, bones and chewies!
If attending a show which requires overnight stays please be assured that your dog is NEVER left at the show site in a crate or in the vehicle. All dogs traveling on the road are taken to the hotel and ALL dogs will stay inside the hotel room either crated or supervised sleeping loose, depending upon their age and reliability. Quite often you will receive photos of your favorite friend sleeping on the bed!!
Because I handle a select few dogs and only travel with a small number your dog will not spend hours a day in a crate bored, he/she will have plenty of one on one time with me and will receive playtime, walks and/or roadworking on a regular basis.
The safety, comfort and mental well being of my client dogs is ALWAYS my number one priority, I strive to develop a strong lasting bond with each dog I handle and my goal is to achieve a happy dog who wants to work and more importantly one who is looking for their moment in the spotlight!

I will personally answer all calls and emails, however if I am grooming or exercising dogs then please allow 2-3 hours for calls or emails to be returned. If you have an urgent call please make this clear in your message subject line or voicemail messages.
